In early 2020, we saw the world change in front of our eyes. From being able to get anything we needed at any time to not being able to find diapers, wipes, or baby food for our then one-year-old. We realized that as a family we could no longer live a life dependent on a system that could break down at any time. But instead, we needed to find ways to live a more sustainable and self-sufficient lifestyle.
Our family decided to make some major changes. First we moved from our one bedroom apartment in the city to a place where we could have a yard to at least grow a little food. This quickly led us on a journey to explore backup power options and how to transition to off-grid living. What was a side project quickly turned into an obsession. Where we reached out to many different companies to explore their products and options. Out of this research, the idea was born for Get Ready Co, which launched in 2023. Where our passion for exploring off-grid living and preparedness, could be combined in connecting customers with trusted brands and an exceptional customer experience.
At Get Ready Co we specialize in providing portable power systems as well as the components you will need to create your own backup power or off-grid system. We work directly with the companies to get contracts and pricing that help keep costs down for customers. Also many of the products we sell we have personally tested and owned. Therefore we can pass on our lived experience with these products to help customers make the best purchase to meet their individual needs.

Our Business Model
At Get Ready Co, we specialize in online sales and do not have physical storefronts. This means all orders are shipped directly from our suppliers to your doorstep. Our suppliers manufacture their products overseas, primarily in China, then ship the completed product to their warehouses located here in the United States where they can inspect for quality control. This means any product you order will ship directly from the supplier to you. This ensures faster shipping times, streamlining the delivery process and significantly reducing shipping costs by minimizing unnecessary transit. At the end of the day, our highest priority is ensuring our customers are happy with their entire order process from start to finish.
